Introduction
Kelo-cote is a patented, self-drying, flexible, gas permeable, waterproof Silicone Gel Sheet that is colourless and odorless. When used as directed, Kelo-Cote has been shown to flatten, soften and smooth scars, relieve the itching, and discomfort of scars, as well as reduce the discolouration assosicated with scars. Kelo-cote is effective for both old and new scars and may help in the prevention of excessive and abnormal formation.
Intended Use
Kelo-cote is intended for the management of old and new scars, including Hypertrophic and Keloid scars, resulting from general procedures. trauma wounds & burns.
Directions for Use
Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry. Apply Kelo-cote to the area as a very thin coat and allow to dry. Apply Kelo-cote twice daily. Once dry, can be covered with cosmetics or sun block. Recommended for duration of treatment 60 to 90 days.
